Skyframe & Display was founded by Robert Benrimon in 1983 in New York City. The business was born in Soho, during the boom of new “pop artists”. The original model of Skyframe was to provide high end custom framing to local New York art galleries and up and coming artists. Over time, Skyframe grew to include services for the retail industry, forming excellent bonds with key figures in the Fashion Industry, and went from exclusively gallery framing to working with some of the industry’s finest companies. In 2001, Skyframe expanded and moved from Soho to its Chelsea penthouse showroom, and opened up a production plant in Hillside, New Jersey. SkyLab Printing was born out of our clients’ needs, providing custom, specialty, and large-format printing and installation.
