I founded Groupe Suppléance in 1983. It was before the internet, before cell phones, we were not a “call center” but a “hotline” dedicated to the medical profession. I had been an employee, I embarked on the adventure of entrepreneurship to meet a societal need. Word of mouth worked: we were reliable, serious, "pro", and we quickly became the largest medical hotline in France. To tell the truth, our profession hardly existed at that time. To regulate it, put in place a collective agreement that would protect my employees and those of the other hotlines who were starting to point out, I created, with a colleague, at the end of the 1980s the Syndicate of tele-services - which I have chaired for ten years, before handing over. We have diversified to meet new needs expressed by our customers. First, there was the hostess service. Then, in a world where borders were being abolished, and with them hourly networks, we instituted, in 1998, the principle of 24/24: thanks to us, our customers were always reachable. We were among the first to integrate the Internet into our services, then all the multi-channel tools (emails and chats, the intranet, etc.). Among the first, too, to introduce multilingualism - our services are now available in eight languages. And tomorrow ? I will continue, with the 200 employees of Groupe Suppléance, to listen to the needs of our customers and to respond to them. My greatest satisfaction is their loyalty. That of our customers, but also that of our employees. Thanks to all of you, we have grown. Thank you.
