Our teams include in-house linguists and quality assurance specialists, highly qualified professional translators, dedicated project and account managers, a talent recruitment team and a technical solutions and localisation department. We’re also ISO17100 certified, which means we’re fully accountable for the quality of our translations and provide the most efficient and cost-effective service to all of our customers. This standard requires that our processes, workflows and ethos are documented and regularly audited. We love what we do and understand that for many of our clients, translation is a sales tool, a lead generator or a legal requirement and they’re not necessarily interested in all the stuff in between. We do encourage a collaborative approach with clients though as this yields the best results. Translation services are increasingly being recognised as an essential component of business budgets, rather than just a commodity. Businesses that use translation services are far more likely to achieve success in business negotiations and global markets. ALM Translations was founded in 2002 by its two directors, Lisa Williams and Rachel Coleman. Both directors already had extensive experience in the translation industry. From humble beginnings in a converted garage, we have steered our company through many ups and downs, including a major financial crisis. We’ve also embraced fast technological changes while never losing sight our goal; making ALM the respected, customer-focused company it is today. With the current COVID-19 pandemic affecting the whole world, our focus is now on retaining all of our staff as well as continuing to provide the high levels of service our clients expect. Today, ALM has dedicated talent recruiters, a team of in-house linguists, two teams of bilingual project and account managers, a technical solutions department and a team of support staff.
