Trims opened in Manhattan in 1969 as a personal shopping and wardrobe consulting service. In 1985, Susan Roth inherited the company from her family. As its client base grew, Trims developed a reputation for its knowledge of protocol and foreign customs in addition to its discretion and taste. Recognizing an underserved market, Susan refocused the business towards corporate clients and relocated the office to Los Angeles, California in 1992. Consistent success has earned the loyalty and trust of both clients and suppliers alike. The company’s long standing relationships with exclusive brands have grown into unique partnerships, opening doors to new products and extraordinary special commissions designed to meet the specific promotional and gifting needs of Trims’ diverse client base.
