From a small bedroom in Manchester, two brothers set out with the mission of becoming global digital leaders. This vision quickly gathered momentum, setting the stage for a wealth of new experiences and opportunities. 8 years, 500+ clients, 80+ staff and 4 countries down the line, we’re closer to achieving this dream than ever before. After exponential growth in our first year of trading, Digital Next closed out 2010 with some of the UK’s largest companies enlisted in our services. Legal, Retail, Travel, Sport… You name it! While we could have never expected success to come in such a short time, we have our dedicated team of young, innovative digital specialists to thank. Following a stellar start-up year, Digital Next soon hit £1 million revenue in 2011. A milestone which came complete with the realisation of how valuable our services were to our clients. There isn’t a greater feeling than knowing you’re doing good for others, and that feeling only drove us to test our limits further in the coming years. After Digital Next directors Justin and Mark Blackhurst were featured in The Times – “Why keeping it in the family pays dividends” – Digital Next gained national exposure that would solidify our UK’s presence. So, with our name out there and a proven national track record, it was time to explore elsewhere… After 4 successful years in the UK, our growth inevitably led us abroad and we have since firmly stationed ourselves within 4 countries, employing over 100 staff worldwide. Most notably, our launch in Melbourne, Australia, which has grown from strength to strength into a trusted digital marketing agency in its own right. Leveraging the UK’s technology nouse and exploiting an untapped Australian market in 2014, our Melbourne branch hit the ground running. This involved landing powerhouse brands such as Sportsbet and Servcorp in our second year of trading; a perfect starting point to show our expertise in a new country. In 2015, we found ourselves partnering up with mobile network giant, EE, on their latest advertising campaign; publicising the launch of their new ‘Business Connect’ tariff. This campaign was a roaring success and one which will remain a prevalent association with our brand. Following a fruitful partnership with Online Group in Sweden, where Digital Next demonstrated continued growth, our business became an attractive investment for one very influential Tech entrepreneur and now major share-holder. After 3 years in Melbourne, a small digital army was forming. Most notably the acquisition of ex-Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Ford Australia, Bruce McDonald (far right), to shore up the ranks as our strategy and client partnership advisor. Now, boasting a team of specialists encompassing fields from journalism to advanced web design, Digital Next was solidified as a force to be reckoned with in Australia’s digital landscape. After being recognised as a Top 100 Fastest Growing Technology Company, we developed a premium multi-channel service offering. This service was geared towards making our team an extension of our client’s teams and on course to break the £4million annual turnover barrier this year.
